FRAGMENTS FROM HEAVEN
Filmforum Ludwig Ticketshop
The Moroccan desert has recently experienced several large meteorite showers. Some of these celestial bodies are now resting in the dry soils. Mohamed, a nomad, is searching for these tiny stones in the desert. For him, these objects represent an opportunity to change his life forever. Abderrahmane, a scientist, also depends on these meteorite fragments to continue his research into the origins of the earth and life. "FRAGMENTS FROM HEAVEN is a film in which I deal with the question of the origin of life. But when it comes to this question, the answers keep drifting into an abyss, always leaving a new mystery to be solved." (Adnane Baraka)
