TROP C'EST TROP (ENOUGH IS ENOUGH)
Filmforum Ludwig Ticketshop
In January 2025, Goma, in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, falls into the hands of the M23 rebels. For decades, the region has been ravaged by armed conflicts over its natural resources. Élisé Sawasawa, 32, was born during the war. With a camera in hand, he films a people who long for peace but have never known it—and who refuse to fade into silence. Some take up arms to protect their families, others provide humanitarian aid, whilst others—like the slam poet Eliane Feza—fight through art. In his first feature film, the director gives a voice to a society that cries out: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
