2067, Reunion: A mother prays to her ancestors from the sea people of the neighboring Great Island. She tells her daughter about her grandfather Dadabe’s struggle against a massive, environmentally destructive project that devastated their ancestral lands and forced them into exile. It was a time when the powerful, across the world, disparaged those who were determined to preserve fertile lands and generous waters for the children yet to be born... It was a time when Gen Z was rising up in Madagascar, and young people around the world were also fighting against climate change.
