In Sofia Alaoui's science fiction drama, Itto, a young woman from humble rural origins, slowly adapts to the privileged Moroccan ways of her husband's family. When a supernatural event unexpectedly separates her from her husband and in-laws, she embarks on a hearteningly lonely odyssey through the fractured country.
