NO U-TURN

Filmforum Ludwig   Ticketshop

From Nigeria, to Benin, Burkina Faso and Mali via Mauritania and Morocco, Nigerian director Ike Nnaebue retraces the route he took 21 years ago to reach Europe. Treading these same migratory paths, he meets men and women who talk about their desires, dreams and fears. Although the journey might seem more organised than the first time round, there is still a significant amount of waiting and no small risk involved. NO U-TURN provides a personal perspective on migration in the modern world as well as giving a voice to the different destinies on the road to Europe.
